• How True Pierre Started

True Pierre began in 2018 within a high school classroom. Coming up with the logo and name almost on the spot. Overtime, True Pierre became less of a dream and more of a reality pushing further and further into the possibility of creating something new. Wanting to bring a brand to the table that brings a new meaning of fashion and new morals within the fabric industry. Pushing away from the now of other brands to create the present for a new.

  • Why True Pierre

True Pierre focuses on using the highest quality fabrics as well as pushing away from synthetic fabrics. Synthetic fabrics are man made and mainly made of plastics, rising in popularity with them, becoming around 60% of the materials that are used on clothing today. True Pierre will begin to push this away from the norm as these plastics are not only hurting the environment but harmful for humans and animals along side it.

  • The Creator of True Pierre

Devin Brown started off his artistic journey when he was 14, seeing art as a way to not only express himself in that moment but to also use the art from others either through paintings or music as an outlet to try to feel what they felt in that moment of creation. Realizing as he got older that art became more and more predominant but less important, no longer being about the feeling or the process of creation but the outcome of profit, there needed to be a change.

More of the Creator of True Pierre

Devin Brown was incredibly lucky to be raised by a father that constantly made him question the morality of humanity. His father giving constant reminders to make him check of the morality of the brands and people than to finally make his own. Seeing as he grew that most moralities tend to stray towards the narcissistic or less empathetic side as most only want whats best for them which is completely understandable. His father also taught him at a young age that the only real smile someone can have is when they make others smile first, because of this Devin wanted to change the common visual of morality. Wanting to change how the higher brands are known as well as change so people can have trust in not only themselves but others as well.

More of why True Pierre wants to be different

Not only throughout the creators life has he had to constantly check his morals and make sure he was doing the right thing but even throughout the creation of True Pierre the creator had to flip his entire mind upside down. Seeing the difference of right and wrong throughout the creation of clothing from how the fabric is created to how the brands increase pricing after buying from their manufacturers. Wanting to have the lowest prices possible but noticing throughout the process that these brands with these low prices have this because of the low amount they pay their manufacturers or how low quality the fabric can be to make sure the completed product will cost less than if the quality of fabric that was originally intended for the product. True Pierre will constantly be checking on its own morals to make sure that not only do their customers get a good price but they also know they are getting high quality in what they are looking for and a brand that they can trust for life.

More of how Synthetic fabrics are harmful

Synthetic Fibers have made way with creation of nylon all the way back in the 1930's. Synthetic Fibers are man made fibers. Although it sounds good to most as we can make fake fur, leather, and other fibers that can switch out for the harm of animals it harms us much more than we know. Synthetic fibers are always chemically made and mainly made out of plastic. Two huge problems. Chemicals are on a constant loop to make these fabrics, but what most people do not know is where those chemicals are going. After the fabric is made, most do not think about how long the life span of the product could be, with the average clothing made of synthetic fabric lasting 200 years. Not only do both of these harm the environment around us by putting the chemicals into the water or leaving millions are articles of clothing to disintegrate overtime since plastic cannot be destroyed. It is a danger to the environment, causing disorders to all animals that take chemicals from water or food and as well as lowing the testosterone count just by wearing the synthetic clothing.

Synthetic vs Non-Synthetic

The hardest question is Synthetic VS Non-Synthetic. Although it doesn't seem like a hard question after hearing about all the bad that can come from Synthetic fabrics there is still the problems of non-synthetic fabrics as well. Non-synthetic fabrics examples would be cotton, silk, hemp, wool, leather, etc. . . A majority of materials are safe to harvest such as hemp and wool being able to be reused from the same animal or plant over and over. Many non-synthetic fabrics are looked down upon because some do not have a "reusable nature" causing ethical concerns. Leather or fur can be used as an example. Even though it can be viewed as being recycled into new clothing, the issue is that it is made from a deceased animal. Some may not feel comfortable wearing these materials, but others view it as a valuable luxury item. The price is another issue. Since the fibers are not man made, they take longer to get and create into a wearable fabric. This process enables brands to market non-synthetic clothing at an expensive price. True Pierre is constantly striving to choose the best fabrics from both non-synthetic and synthetic materials to align with the values for customers worldwide.
